Leaked Email Finder – Find Out If Your Email Has Been Leaked

Data breaches are a fact of life and personal information ends up on the dark web all the time, leaving it vulnerable to cybercriminals. It’s important to be aware of this and take steps to protect yourself, like using a password checker such as Have I been pwned to see if your Leaked Email Finder is included in one of these leaks.

However, there are a lot of leaked databases out there and it can be difficult to keep track of them all, especially if you’re not tech-savvy. Enter Leaked Email Finder, a new service from infosec veteran Troy Hunt that can help you quickly determine whether your email address has been exposed.

The website itself is pretty simple: you type in your email address and a few seconds later it tells you if your information has been included in any known breaches or dumps. Then it shows you what other information might have been exposed (like passwords, full names and dates of birth), if available.

There’s also a link to the COMB (Computer Ownership Monitoring) database, which contains more than 3 billion email and password combinations plus full names, addresses and demographic data from the likes of Netflix and LinkedIn.

While Hunt has algorithms in place to try to filter out some of the more useless pastes, there’s still a good chance that if your email is in one of these databases it might end up in a spam or phishing campaign.
